About Millcreek Community Hospital : Emergency Room
Millcreek Community Hospital : Emergency Room is an urgent care in Erie, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 5515 Peach St, Erie, PA 16509, which places it among the local businesses of Erie that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Erie, urgent care centers are busiest on weekends and evenings when doctors' offices are closed, and most post their wait times online. Across Pennsylvania, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Check the listing for insurance, hours and whether telehealth visits are offered.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (814) 868-8344. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, lecomhealth.com.

Erie is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Erie follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My husband went there due to gout to get an injection for the inflammation. Then prescribed him idomethacin which he is allergic to. They wouldn't even give him an ice pack for the inflammation.

Your typical American health care experience; substandard care with prices that bleed you dry like vampires. Before even providing care, of course they only want to see your proof of insurance. There wasnβt much they could do for me as I had a broken finger, but even then they had the audacity to bill my insurance provider $3k, and then asked me for a further $1800 for doing absolutely nothing except an X-ray. Money grubbing sink to the core, do NOT go here.

My first time going to Millcreek ER and it was the worst experience with a hospital and care in my life. My daughter got a referral at urgent care to get an xray done at the ER because a knife stabbed into her palm and she felt it hit the bone. They call her back and there were 2 people, a man and an older woman who was a "supposed" doctor who had darker short hair cut like a man. She asked what brought us in and I told her the situation and then she said "I am sure youre up to date on tetanus & pediatric vaccines? I said no, we arent doing any vaccines. After I said that, it immediately went down hill and she gave me an attitude. Went over to my daughter and looked at her palm didnt ask to move it or touch it just quick peek at it and said oh thats not even bad. We will slap a bandaid on it. I then said we were told to come here to get an xray to make sure the stab wound didnt hit her bone and she said no it looks good. I said you can tell by looking that it didnt hit her bone? She said well no i cant.. and then I said well thats probably why we should get an xray? And she just ignored me and left the room. I turned to my daughter and said so this was pointless and the guy who wa

My husband had a total knee replacement at this hospital today. Staff members including nurses Jill and Chelsea, were professional, kind and understanding. Private rooms in hospital are amazing. Highly recommend this hospital and attentive staff.

This place is ridiculous! Ignorant Dr. Dismissive. Didn't want to listen to anything. Impatient. Rude. Now, the ER.... Me and I other patient, 3+ hours, still waiting for any kind of result, information, SOMETHING.... Nothing. No call bell, no little table thing, nothing. Went out to ask questions, didn't even get 2 words before being interrupted and given an answer to a question I wasn't asking about. Got attitude from the nurse coming on as well. Seriously? THIS IS A HOSPITAL? AN ER? Don't come here. Do not bring yourself or anyone else, to this hospital. I have never seen a more poorly run ER, in my life! Negative Stars. These people should be paying us,not billing us, because they damn sure haven't done anything. I walked out, after multiple hours, dealt with ignorance, no test results, nothin but attitude. I'll be disputing anything they try to charge my insurance and don't even think about sending me a bill!
